Laser hair removal is a long term solution to removing unwanted hair on your body, Leaving skin silky smooth. Our laser procedure utilizes light energy which is absorbed by the pigment in your hair. At COMPLEXIONS SKIN THERAPY we have two FDA approved laser hair removal systems; the excel HR™ laser, and IPL. These two devices allow us to treat all skin types and most areas of the body.
Using the excel HR™ laser—the gold standard in medical-grade laser hair removal—we can permanently reduce unwanted hair from virtually any area of the body, no matter your skin type. Laser hair removal works by emitting a concentrated wavelength of laser energy, which is absorbed by the targeted pigment found in the hair follicle. The follicle is effectively destroyed, preventing future hair growth. Because hair grows in cycles, several treatment sessions are required for hair reduction; 6-8 is typically recommended. Treatments are spaced 6-8 weeks apart and results are seen after your first treatment. We ask that before treatment you shave only and avoid anything which would remove hair follicles such as tweezing and waxing.
The excel HR™ is our most advanced hair removal laser and is one of the most effective laser hair removal devices on the market. It uses two different wavelengths of laser light (755 nm and 1064 nm Nd:YAG) in combination with a sapphire lens that provides contact cooling for each laser pulse. This makes the treatment far less painful.

BB GLOW FACIAL
Semi Permanent Foundation
BB Glow is a semi-permanent “foundation” for your skin. It is applied by using micro needles to penetrate a pigmented Vitamin serum into your skin. The needles are so small they can barley be felt, making this treatment very gentle. What Is Microneedling?
Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure. It involves pricking the skin with tiny sterilized needles. The small wounds cause your body to make more collagen and elastin, which heal your skin and help you look younger. You might also hear it called collagen induction therapy. Microneedling Benefits

First, you’ll get a numbing cream smoothed onto your face so you can’t feel the needle pricks. Then the person doing the microneedling will move a pen-shaped or rolling tool with tiny needles around your face. The needles make small cuts in your skin, which causes a bit of bleeding. Treatment is finished with a skin specific serum to extend the benefits of the treatment.
IPL PHOTO FACIAL
The benefits of intense pulsed light therapy cover almost the entire spectrum of cosmetic dermatology. When performed a IPL photo facial treatment can help nearly all aspects of skin health.

An Innovative Way to Control Moderate Acne
Not exclusive to teenagers, many young adults, people in their 20's and 30's, have trouble with acne that is hard to control. We know there are many acne treatments out there for you to try and it can be overwhelming. The BLU-U is a unique blue light that kills the P. acnes bacteria in your skin. To obtain the best results from a chemical peel application, you must prepare your skin so the acids will penetrate evenly and effectively.
Pretreating the skin before peels accomplishes two things: first conditioning the epidermis allows the peel to penetrate deeper and more evenly, and second it inhibits pigment production so that the skin is less
likely to hyperpigment in response to the peel.
It is particularly important to balance the skin prior to applying a peel.

ACNE PEEL
Containing 35% Salicylic Acid, this peel prevents sebum blockage, eases extractions, and prevents pseudofolliculitis. Salicylic acid, a light amount of sloughy, and possibly no visible peeling. Salicylic is considered a superficial peel. It can penetrate through the Stratum Corneum, the Stratum Granulsome, and possibly into the Stratum Basale layer at higher strengths.
Peeling should be completed within 2-4 days. You may experience some dryness but very little downtime is associated with this acid more like "social downtime".
The absence of flaking does not mean that this acid isn't working though. Flakes are not necessary for changes to occur within the skin, especially with this acid the primary goal is to liquefy the trapped oil beneath the layers of the skin. Many people will find this type of acid treatment becomes a monthly necessity to help control excessive sebum production.

This is Jessner Peel is a certified professional-grade formulation. When you are dealing with cystic and heavy acne, a medium-depth combination peel can be your solution.
